What academic skills do I need to be successful in the program?

Arts & Literacy Grade 12 English is required.  High school courses in Hospitality/Tourism & Recreation; Information and Communication Technology would be useful preparation for this program.

Math and Science Good math skills are needed (need grade 11 or grade 12 math course). Courses in Financial Management would be useful.               

Technology Basic computer skills recommended (Microsoft Office suite, Internet, checking student portal daily).

Opportunities for further development or education

• Eligible graduates of the Golf and Club Management can apply for transfer to BUS1 (Fanshawe College - Business Diploma) and complete approx.12 courses or 2 semester and receive a secondary diploma in Business.
• After completing the business diploma, eligible students can apply to the 3rd year of the 4 Year Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Management) (BCM) program.
