Literacy Heavy reading load, need ability to read and comprehend textbooks.
Math & Science Strong math skills required (recommend grade 12-U course). Strong interest and ability in Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy and Biology.
Technology Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office suite, Internet, checking student portal daily).

What kind of work could I do when I graduate?
Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees is a preparatory program for some career programs in the School of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing and Public Safety. Students who do not progress on to a Fanshawe College School of Health Sciences or Nursing program have been known to continue their studies in other college programs or at university.

- The HOAE test may be a good indicator to let you know if you are truly interested in a health career. Currently Fanshawe College only requires applicants to the Respiratory Therapy program to take this test as an admission requirement.
